We went paddling and here is a picture of teenager with his cousin.
We also went to see NUFC ( Newcastle united) at a training session. It was a free event and thousands turned up.
Teenager got his very first season ticket. This means he can go to every home match. He has been over to Newcastle on the train with his friend, so he is hoping to go to lots of matches.
There was a first team player signing session and teenager got lots of autographs and photos, including this one with new signing Sol Campbell.
I love living in the Lake District and can't imagine every moving from such a beautiful place. I am always so happy to be back and inspired every day by the beauty and peace. But Newcastle will always be home.

Amen sister!
(LOVED the socks by the way!)
Small world ... cant believe you were brought up in Tynemouth which is where I live now . I'm forever on the road to Ambleside , one of my favourite places! Off there tomorrow in fact ...Hope you are feeling ok .
Looks like a lovely visit. Season tickets?? He must be thrilled~
If those sunny pictures were taken on Thursday, you had better weather in Newcastle than the Lakes where I thought the world was going to end!
We loved Northumberland when we went recently, it was our first time in the North East. But (and from someone who lives closed to the peak District) - you can't beat the Lakes.
Just had a long weekend near to keswick and still dream of living there.
you and ex-pat Mom are making me long for Tynemouth. I'll have to wait until next year. Glad you enjoyed it.;-)
What a beautiful place, and the photos of Teenager and Cousin are lovely. I'm so happy that you had a good vacation and visit with family.
