Look Closely.....
.....what can you see behind the brush? Urggh. Lurking on the floor? Urggh
I went into our utility room yesterday to retrieve teenager's rugby kit from the tumble drier and saw what I thought was a ball of fluff. I bent down to pick it up and it hopped out of the way.
I nearly hit the roof.....
A frog had hopped in from the garden out of the rain. Urrgghh. I had to get husband and teenager to shoo it away.
Its not that I don't like frogs... but I prefer them in storybooks thanks very much.
Urggh. My hair is on end just thinking about it.
There is a limit to all this country girl stuff and I found it last night. Urggh

Did you kiss it...and was it really a prince?
eek - I feel you horror. When our cats were younger they used to bring in frogs to 'play' with - did you know they scream! I'll always remember when we had a washing maching repair man who on pulling out the machine said'did you know you had a dead frog under here?' I can honestly say I didn't!! The shame and the yuk!
my mum thinks its a toad- comments from anyone in the know?
In my expert opinion, it's either a frog or a toad... or maybe some sort of frog-lizard.
Guess you hopped higher than the frog!
Oh my, be thankful you didn't step on it.
FUNNY!!
Ribbit!
Lovely amphibian (sitting on the fence here)...
If it was smooth-skinned, it's probably a frog. The rougher the skin looks the more likely it's a toad.
Its a toad. I know cause the FREAK ME OUT!!! Aaaarrrgghh (Polergirl runs off into the sunset, trainers leaving a burning trail of rubber!)
Nota and Loopin- I didn't get close enough to either kiss the damn thing nor scrutinise skin texture. I was too busy panicking.
If it walks rather than hops it is a toad. As it hopped, it is likely to be a frog. Frogs and toads are wonderful friends in the garden cos they eat the dreaded slugs - which have just eaten ALL MY CABBAGES!!!! Give me frogs any day.
