Michael Owen
To my amazement Manchester United have bought Michael Owen. All I can say is- I hope they have better luck with him than we did. The end

Just a shame we weren't able to sell him, but had to wait for him to be a free agent, unlike Jonathan Woodgate. You don't mind so much if you've got an expensive player never fit enough to play well, if you can recoup some of the cost - but Newcastle paid too much for him and now get nothing for their trouble.
