Other half and I

Other half and I went to an awards ceremony on Friday night. It was at the lovely Netherwood Hotel in Grange Over Sands. We were celebrating successful businesswomen in the North West, and particularly the Lake District. The awards were run by LBN ( Lakeland Business Women's Network) and were really well organised. The theme was black and white. I really enjoyed my first real night out for quite a while.

The floods look terrible. Yes, I can believe that building won an award in the 70's. (Sorry, don't know how to highlight the word 70's.)

You two look smashing!

and so you should! you look very glam and sophisticated. and i've been to grange over sands so any mention of 'hyem' is enough to make me homesick. ;-)

I was interested to see your photos of the flooding. Thankfully we have missed the worst of the weather here, but we still have had a lot of rain and grey, cold, miserable weather.

Good to see that you managed to get out and enjoy yourself on Friday evening.

You and OH look fab, and like you're having fun. Great to see you out and about so soon after your op and having a fantastic opportunity to really get dressed up in your best clobber. And for a toon fan, what better dress theme than black and white!
