Our Christmas decorations are now put away and the house looks clear, fresh and tidy. I hate putting them and taking them down, but I do enjoy them lots when they are up. I love the lights and lots of sparkly things.... but best of all I love...
DAFFODILS! I can't wait til they start peeping through. We have quite a wait yet I know...
A sign of Spring, or renewal and hope for new beginnings and fresh opportunities.
School starts again on Tuesday. Teenager is snowed ( love the pun) under a lot of homework, and we are about to go and tidy up the office ready for a new day tomorrow... the first of the year and lots to look forward to.
I hope all my blogging friends and visitors are looking forward to a peaceful and enjoyable 2010.

Wow! That is a lot of snow!
Happy New Year!
Happy New Year to you too!!!!
Happy New Year Jo!
I'm the same with the tree and decorations. What I need is a putter-upper-taket-downer!
Daffodils are very significant to me. My Mum loved them and strangely when she died, the hospital grounds were full of them so whenever I see them I think of her.
I wish I had your enthusiasm for work tomorrow though!
Facing the task of dismantling the tree and decorations always makes me sad...but I know we need to do it! Thanks for the encouragement.
Happy New Year! I too am counting down the days to spring. Daffodils appear early here, so maybe I won't have too long a wait.
We are in an arctic cold blast here, but no snow so far. But it's in the forecast for Wednesday. Hopefully, it won't be as much as you've had!
My daffies are usually up in February and I can't wait for them to be dancing in the breeze again!
Happy New Year, Jo! May 2010 bring many blessings your way!
Hugs,
Renie
