The heating

This morning when we left for the office ( pretty early on) we had to de-ice the car. It has been freezing cold and raining all day. Clouds, black skies, unremitting darkness, low pressure and gloom. When I got it the house was freezing. I now have the heating on full. It feels like November and it is nearly May.
Depressing. With the weather, and all this swine flu hysteria, it's enough to make a girl want to hibernate.

Ugh! Sounds like the northwest all right. California is sending sun!

funny that - I live in Italy and my post this morning says much the same as yours!

I can relate to the weather's ups and downs. We have a similar climate to yours, I think...perhaps we are a similar distance between the North Pole and Equator? Anyway, I am SO ready for the sun to start doing its work here...
As for the swine flu, I think the greatest danger from swine is in the media, spewing fear and garbage. Oh, for the days of limited news coverage!

Oh, my, that is a bummer, Jo. We've been in the low 80s F all week, and I have had the air conditioning on late afternoons. Hope it warms up there.

The swine flu scare is, well, kind of scary!

I'm sure you miss your cute son, but are glad he is happy and doing so well in Australia.

Take care!
