The Wii Fit

I have finally bought a Wii fit. It says I have a fit age of fifty nine. The worst of it- I agree with it!!
It is great fun, and we have now all had a go. I have told teenager that I will be working on it full time when he is away, so that when he gets back I will be really good on everything and will hold all the house records. He is not convinced.
I think it will be really good for toning up. I like the stepping exercises though my co-ordination is dire. I am really woeful at the heading and the tightrope. Must practise.
Oh yes.... and I must mention the hula hoop exercise. It is so difficult but it must be so good for the waist line. Watch this space for progress.

I see my Grandkids playing on these wii things, looks good fun. I remember years ago when the actual Hula Hoop was in vogue, it was a really good exercise tool, I spent many an evening after the children were in bed, Hooping to Chubby Checker's song 'Let's twist again' in my living room. It certainly toned me up and I was always trim.
I expect Chubby Checker was a bit before your time and memory, but I am sure Google remembers him!!!
Have fun Jo, and well done with the one bite of the Hot Cross Bun..

Just found your blog and am pleased to join your followers! I loved the Proverbs in April and the view from Adelaide Hill which I remember well.
Good luck with the wi-fi. (P.S. I am 59 - I just wish I had a fitess age of it. I guess I'd be about 118 and the machine would tell me to lie down and call an ambulance!)

The Wii Fit is one of the best things I have ever bought - I'm trying to persuade my mother to get one. You can do as much or as little as you like, and it keeps a record of everything.

We've had ours for about 6 weeks, and yesterday I finally became a professional at tightrope walking. That 'game' has improved my balance a billion-fold. Hope you enjoy yours as much as we're enjoying ours!

It is also a nice 'ornament' in the conservatory, and a talking point when you have visitors. "ooh you have a Wii Fit?"

I don't use mine anymore because it keeps telling me off for not popping in more often - reminds me of my mother!
