Swimming and Classical Islam Class

I have had a nice day today. I went swimming with my friend this morning ( half eight in the morning- applause please) and did lots of lengths.

I am hoping this will help with tonight during the rapid weight loss period.

We had coffee and a chat afterwards, and I really enjoyed it. I intend to go again next week.

I then went down to university and went to my Classical Islam class. It was really interesting. I am struggling to keep up with the reading but I enjoy going anyway for the debate and discussion. I pick up loads of interesting bits and pieces.
I bought a couple of books at Waterstone's ( about Islam) and I intend to have a bath tonight with lovely bath oil , followed by head stuck in the books.

SO, you are enjoying the Islam class....very interesting. You must share some good points with us.

Hi Jo!

I'm back!

Swimming is great exercise! And the Islam class sounds most interesting. Learning about other cultures is so important.

Happy weekend!

A tired Renie

You have inspired me Jo. At least I know something about Islam, having worked in a multicultural business in England, but I need to learn more. Perhaps if we all understood each other better we wouldn't be in the mess we're in.

I have been swimming a couple of times too - is the fact that spring is on it's way motivatng you to do more? T'is me.

I always enjoyed my RE lessons and school and finding out about other religions but of course they only touched the surface.
