Fabulous wife

Picture the scene. Alarm rings at six. Husband off to Birmingham for the day.

Fabulous wife springs out of bed, makes him a cup of tea while he showers, and rustles up a homemade steak casserole from scratch, ready for the supper tonight.

Fabulous wife clears kitchen, empties dishwasher and put a load of washing in.

Now husband is on the road. And I am ...back in bed with a cup of tea. Heavenly. Check the blogs in peace, and then back off to sleep. It's half term holiday here so teenager has no school. So it's a lazy late morning all round.

Hope I wake up in time for coffee with my pal at half ten. Sigh. The pressures...

Lucky you: We traipsed up to London for the day.Casserole also in the slo-cooker by 8am! Luckily my daughters know the value of a coffee and a sit down at regular points throughout the day!

Wow, you really are a fabulous wife, Jo!

Enjoy your coffee with your friends. I was out yesterday with friends, so am home today still trying to do some cleanup. Ugh! Those breaks with friends are so nice though. I'll be at it again tomorrow.

Hugs,

Renie

a perfect day if you ask me, although when I am up I can't go back to bed like that and go back to sleep.

You make me feel so guilty. When my husband gets up early he does so on his own but he is up and out in no time at all and I am often working until 9pm at night. Sometimes we are a bit like ships in the night.

You are wonder woman, Jo. My hubby gets up at 5:30 for work, no way am I getting up at that time, I just turn over and go back to
sleep. :-)
