A note of congratulations to all the Obama supporters over there in the USA. I am sure you are still partying and celebrating a very exciting victory.
Commiserations to all of you who hoped for John McCain to win- I know what it's like to be disappointed on election night.
We look forward to seeing the impact on UK when the new President comes into office in January.
