Physician Heal Thyself

I was asked by BBC Radio Cumbria to talk about stress management today, as their expert! I was very flattered to be asked. It was short notice ( stressful....) and I was on for a couple of minutes giving wise responses to questions such as ' give us some tips for managing stress' and 'do you get stressed yourself then?'.
I was interviewed on the phone and it went out live. I haven't heard the broadcast. My favourite aunt heard it and a couple of my friends. They have said positive things, but I felt as if I sounded rambling and drunk!!
Anyway, it has been a busy and exciting day. Lots of positive stress. I need a good night's sleep now ( one of my tips) and some deep breathing.

Night all!

That sounds exciting, Jo! Congratulations. I'm sure you did great.

It's time for me to get some sleep now as well.

I hope we get to hear it sometime?
I was interviewed by Radio Newcastle once as an ex-pat. I sound like a complete plank.
I told everyone back home to tune in and listen to it but it was on so early in the morning nobody did. Which was probably a blessing in the long run.
I'm sure yours was much better.

Tremendous! At my next cocktail party I shall tell them all I know someone famous. Stress management, flipping heck, I could do with some of that on a bad day!

Congrats, Jo. I think you were very brave. I couldn't have done it, I'm no good at thinking on my feet, I need time to ponder. I guess that's why I write.

Just before Christmas, I was asked to write an article for an English magazine entitled "Emigrate." They found me through my blog. Cool init?

OOh er. An expert!!!
I was also interviewed by Radio Newcastle. I had to stay up till 3am, then they forgot to call me. I rang their office and because they had run out of time, I got about 10 seconds and the most inane questions I have ever heard. Waste of time really.
