Goodbye to Ireland!

I am always happy to go back home to the beautiful Lake District. It is never a hard place to return to. Now I have sussed out how to load pictures I will be able to show you some shots of where I live.

First though, it's a fond goodbye to Northern Ireland. We will come back again- it has been a lovely rest and there is much still to look at. Thanks to Edith and Maurice at Croft Cottages: they have given us a great welcome and we have a lovely time in their wonderful cottage.

This is a wonderful shot of teenager on the trampoline here. It shows the exuberance of youth and it really makes me smile.

The Fav Aunt enjoyed your Irish pics and is v jealous of your visit! Am now delighted to have learned how to post on the blog. Sorry you missed out on Halloween but I can see why fireworks might be a bit of problem in N.I. and why they might prefer to control them tightly. It was also v quiet here - nothing like the usual number trick or treaters so have lots of chocolate ghouls left over!

Congrats on the 500 hits and aren't you glad I told you to blog?

Yes, isn't it great driving home. I feel exactly the same when we return home and I see the moors. As we turn into the B1366 I always say to Jon "We're home now!"

Guess what we are having for lunch? Yes! Steak pies! LOL!
