Jealousy, Envy,Competitiveness.... etc

I love it when people comment on my blog. It is great to hop over to the blogs of new callers when they leave their name, and to hear from regulars too.

I popped across to Renie's blog and saw that she had thirty five comments on her last post - THIRTY FIVE!!

The most I have ever had is sixteen. I was excited by that, but now I realise I am hardly out of the starting blocks ( even though Renie does deserve every comment- her blog is great, and she is a friendly blog visitor too).

So, make my day. If you are visiting today please say hello. Don't lurk ( a blogging expression I believe), and even if you are visiting and don't have a blog, leave a comment if you can. I think all you need to do is register with google.

Renie- I am going for it!! As they say in Geordieland- SHY BAIRNS GET NOWT.

Hi there, here is another "hit" for you. I commented the other day but something went wrong and nothing showed up. I enjoy your blog!

Aww, well, thank you Jo! I am late though as it's Sunday morning, and got to get ready for church and then lunch with church friends. Hope you get a bunch of comments. Your blog is delightful and you deserve them. Happy Sunday! Or is it Monday in the UK? Then Happy Monday.

Hugs,

Renie

I read everything you write - sometimes I comment and sometimes I don't. Usually it depends on what sort of chaos is reigning here, rather than what you've actually written!

I love it when someone takes the time to comment on something I have posted and yes when you beat your previous number you know you have achieved.

Morning, Jo! I will admit, I'm a bit of a lurker. Like you, I love getting comments, especially from people I don't "know." I always click on their links and check out their blogs. But, I don't usually leave a comment. It's almost like I'm afraid that if I leave a comment, I'll be committed to checking back everyday, and adding them to my blog list, etc...silly, I know! I hope you get all the comments you wished for today! :)

I know how your feel LOL so I thought I would send a little comment your way. I happened upon your blog by hopping from one to another think I started at theBritishwomans.blogspot. Hope you catch up to Renie must go check her out. Hugs Bunny

Hi Jo, I think I'm doing well if I get 5 comments. :-)

Thanks for agreeing to be interviewed. Can you let me have an e-mail address where I can send the questions? My e-mail address is on my blog. Cheers.

Thirty-five? That is a lot.
The most I've had is seventeen, and that was some time ago.
I love going to new bloggers.
Will keep an eye on you now!

I'm here....puff, pant! trying to blog but getting distracted by a programme about the History of Scotland that hubby recorded. It's a bit gory but more truthful that that dreadful film with Mel Gibson in it - Braveheart!

I get envious of other blogs too - but I haven't the time to spend trawling through dozens of blogs every day leaving comments to entice people back to mine.

I always wonder/am envious of these people who have dozens of comments on their posts.

My comment to you today, is I too love your blog,

Well this will make 10 so far Jo. Have visited before and commented but have also been a lurker. Know what you mean though about the number of comments. New resolution for me then - no more lurking! A x

Oh you're so shallow. You only want us for the numbers!

Hi! I love to read your blog, but I never post. I am definitely one of your lurkers!

Ahh Windermere....my grandmother has a home near there that our family used for holidays in the summer. I once got bitten by one of the swans by the lake when I was a child and i'm still afraid of going near them now!! lol

thanks to everyone for not lurking, and commenting! I really appreciate it- the most comments I have ever had...
But I have a long way to go before I get to Renie's dizzy heights....

Not sure what number comment this is but you seem to be going great guns.

If I read a post I try to leave a comment but there are times when I simply can not think of anything to say. I would like to know how many people read my blog but do not comment. Guess I need one of those meter things.

I once got 21 comments. But I didn't get them, Thor did. I too feel a twinge of envy at the comments others get, and I'm so happy when you come to visit me! I stop by often, even if I don't comment. So, I'm number 23 or so!

Wow, there you go, Jo! A lot of comments. Good for you. I'm happy for you. Of course, my 35 actually went up to 49! LOL. Sorry, can't help myself.

Hugs,

Renie
